We design, install and configure local area networks: structured cabling, electronic equipment (switches), etc.
For network design we try to get the most out of the data, we compare price for unit of the device and are not hesitate to apply methods of segmentation layer 2 (VLANs) or layer 3 (routing), depending on the needs reported. The type of equipment to use as a switch is in function of the requirements and the application that the customer will give the data, so that if necessary we enable quality of service (QoS) in some ports.
We work with different equipment manufacturers, but noted for their quality to two major manufacturers: Cisco and HP. But we are always open to other brands that add functionality to the project.
Currently, the internet connections have many options open communication, but also the customers have their data visible in the public network. Therefore the need for a firewall is increasingly indispensable if we want to protect important data from unsolicited access. These devices have evolved strength and now they can behave as a unified point of threats (UTM), so that the same device can: content filtering, to reject spam, virus analysis, etc., to give an additional security to the network.
The segmented design of the network and apply policies are vital to ensure the smooth operation of a firewall, isolating the typical areas: DMZ, LAN and WAN.
